She has been involved in supporting fundraising, relief and recovery efforts following disasters since 1990. She is one of the founding members of BCPWHO and over the past 17 years has been a Disaster Action Team Member, has served on several committees on emergency response and has developed academic programs in business continuity & emergency management. In 2005 she was named on the list of the Top 300 Women Leaders in New England.

She is a speaker, writer, and a passionate advocate for humanitarian and woman's issues. In her spare time you'll often find her capturing the world around her with her camera, climbing mountains and spending time with her family. She can be reached at adevlen@bcpwho.org.
