2008: Assessing Public Health in Emergency

7- 18, 2008. This two-week intensive course
is designed to familiarize professionals
with epidemiological techniques that will
help determine the impacts of disasters
and conflicts. The course will introduce
participants to the methods and tools used
in the context of humanitarian emergencies.
The course will also include different uses
of quantitative tools for the assessment
of health needs in populations affected
by catastrophic events.
